Atmospheric Pirtti restaurant

The atmospheric Pirtti restaurant serves at the main building of Lentiira Holiday Village.  In addition to breakfast we carry out tasty lunches, casual sauna menus or festive dinners following local tastes of the season. Please ask for availability!

Pop-in visitor could choose from our shortlist soup with hiilikka rye bread or local salmon pie with salad. For any meals we recommend advance booking to serve You in a best possible way.
 

Hand made food in Kuhmo

Our kitchen favors local food and local flavors. At the center are domestic roots that bend into colorful soups and side dishes. Potatoes, herbs and salads grow in our yard during the summer months.

The game we offer is local elg and deer from Southern Finland. The fish includes pike or pikeperch caught in Lentiira, as well as salmon farmed in Kuhmo and smoked in our own smokehouse. Bakery products - breads, rusks and pies - are conjured up with traditional recipes locally. We bake berry delicacies in Lomakylä's own kitchen.

Our restaurant takes into account a gluten-free and lactose-free diet as needed. We also find vegans and vegetarians with unbeatable delicious options.

Aromatic Pine tar

The speciality of our kitchen is our own produced pine tar aroma. You will have opportunity to taste tar flavored rye bread and desserts flavored with tar syrup, not to forget tar snaps!

In addition to organic, dark-roasted coffee and refreshments, our drink list includes Haapala beers from local brewery as well as European wines and the most popular spirits.
