Location

Lentiira village belongs to Kuhmo municipality.  Located in the arctic lakeland Kainuu area, near eastern boarder in the middle of Finland. The main town in Kainuu region is Kajaani with national airport, train and bus connections. To reach us by car takes some 1,5 hours drive from Kajaani. You can rent a car or request taxi/pick-up service.

Lentiira is an appealing stop-over resort for travellers driving the eastern route from South to Northern Finland, from Koli to Hossa national parks, or, for those crossing the border in Vartius to visit Russia. The main roads in the area are in good condition with rather light traffic. In summer times you can estimate reaching some approx. 100km in one hour. Shortcuts might mean roads with little less quality.
